After their successful agreement, Chettamandey then returned to her husband, Azariel and acted like nothing was remiss. Though she had never loved him, the two were close partners in their arraigned marriage, until Azariel had begun ignoring her warnings and concerns, when it came to managing House Brobantis' affairs. The final line was crossed, though, after Azariel had completed arraigned marriages for their two children, [[Felicia Brobantis]] and [[Ranovel Brobantis]], based on what would best help their House. Chettamandey was vehemently against Azariel's plans, as she did not want the children's marriages to be political arrangements like theirs was, but her pleas were dismissed, as it was Azariel's right as Novator to do so. This immediately caused Chettamnadey to begin looking for ways to kill Azariel, without anyone finding out she was responsible. The chance finally came, when they traveled to Necromunda and their host '''Adelard''' [[House Ko'iron|Ko'iron]] took them to see several of impresario Drost Khouren's fights. Now when Jaxx's next match began, Chettamnadey simply watched as the pit fighter jumped into their stand and swung a cleaver at Drost. Just as they had arraigned however, Jaxx intentionally missed at the last second and instead bisected Azariel, who had been sitting next to the impresario. As her husband fell dead in pieces, Chettamandey allowed Jaxx to kill Drost, before she then in turn killed the pit fighter with her [[Warp Eye]]. In the chaotic aftermath, Chettamandey quickly left Necromunda to take command of House Brobantis; but not before arranging to pay Jaxx's relatives a sizeable 10,000 credits, in the [[Hive World]]'s currency.{{Fn|1}}
