They are chosen from the craziest, wildest and most homicidal members of a gang and serve as an enforcer, [[Underhive]] assassin and a debutant of death. A Gang Matriarch will always carry the gang's deadliest weapons and favors favours wearing even more outlandish dress than most Eschers. It is no surprise then, that when their [[Gang Queen]] dies, the Matriarch will inevitably taker her place as the gang's leader.{{Fn|1}}
