The warriors of the Fire Caste like to say that this planet has a raging core to rival Farsight's own, as the amount of geothermic energy that the Earth Caste has managed to harness from Vior'los' volcanoes makes it the most potent of all the Farsight Enclaves strategic assets. It has been speculated that the planet's innate power is what drew Farsight to make his home there. Though Vior'los boasts a warm saline ocean, the planet's landmass is both its principal training ground and its most stunning natural resources. It is said in the enclaves that Vior'los, whose name translates as 'Sons of Vior'la', can boast just as many warriors as its namesake, if not more.1
Among the Sept's forces is the Hunter Cadre M'yennan'ka, which was formed after Vior'los was invaded by Tyranids. The Cadre then aided in defending the Sept from subsequent invasions from Orks and the forces of Chaos. The blue and orange panels on M'yennan'ka's grey armor, represent unit markings and achievements. It has, however, swapped Vior'los' grey Sept markings for white ones, in remembrance for the Tyranid invasion that ravaged its Homeworld.2 ===The Reclaiming of Viorlos===After the close of the Damocles Gulf Crusade, Vior'los was left in the custody of the Adeptus Mechanicus, with supporting elements from both the Astra Militarum and Adeptus Astartes.3a The Mechanicus managed the world's many geothermal generators as well as carried out the purge campaign of Tau civilians left behind, rounding up the Tau and disposing of them by throwing them into the volcanic calderas. Nominally, this was for increasing the yield of the generators, but it was an obvious punitive measure against the aliens. During the Farsight Expedition, Commander Farsight would begin the revanchist war by invading Vior'los.3b Farsight met with Shas'o Moata to coordinate with the remaining Tau resistance on the surface of Vior'los and began coordinating to push the Imperium out of the system once again, but found difficulty in overcoming the heavy reinforcements of Skitarii troops.3b Under advisement, Farsight allowed Por'vre Malcaor to make a planetary broadcast that inspired the many millions of labor ratings to start a slave revolt. With many Skitarii forces tied up in the rebellion, it allowed Farisght the chance to finally make a decisive strike.3d This was accomplished by utilizing tectonic devices invented by O'Vesa to trigger many of Vior'los's volcanoes to scour the world of the Skitarii.3c However, the Scar Lords Space Marines arrived in time to hold a counter-invasion to support Mechanicus forces, but these forces were defeated by Farsight.3e After the defeat of the Scar Lords ground forces, Scar Lords Chapter Master Caelos ordered Exterminatus on Vior'los to deny the world to the Tau. Having anticipated the response, Farsight sent Ob'lotai 3-0 on a mission to board the Scar Lords' ship through a macrocannon barrel. Ob'lotai used his fusion blaster to detonate the virus bomb prematurely, destroying the ship and eradicating the surviving Scar Lords.3e
