As the tendril passes an asteroid belt near the [[Jomm]] System, they destroy the moon of [[Vendorak]]. The resulting shockwave causes asteroids to crash into the planet depleteing the hive fleet to, so it can't reach the planets of Jomm.{{Fn|5}}
