Trivia:
During his introduction in chapter 5 of the Fall Of Damnos, Sahtah is described as a necron lord cursed by the flayer virus before the great sleep. His first concerns upon awakening are of the state of his "robes". These "robes" are in fact seemingly the decaying remnants of his previous human prey. This is however quite odd considering that this should be his first time being awoken in at least 60 million years, when the species, Homo Sapien, would not yet exist in the galaxy. [Pg 93-94]. He is often described in the book as being a violent, almost beastial creature. He is portrayed so much in this way in the novel that you could realistically , consider him more of cunning predator, than the actual unfeeling machine that he is.
