'''Hololithic Projectors''',{{Fn|1}} or just '''Holo-Projectors''',{{Fn|2b}} are [[Imperial]] devices, that display holo images, recordings,{{Fn|1}} or live holo-casts{{Fn|99a}} sometimes called hololiths.{{Fn|5}}
==Description==
Hololithic images are used for a variety of purposes involving 3D displays in communication,{{Fn|99a}} strategic planning, and decoration.{{Fn|5}} Hololith banners{{Fn|9b}} and holo-statues might be used as decoration and display.{{Fn|5}}
===Hololith===
Hololiths are typically either blue, green, or some shade between. The form created by the projection ribbons are heavily striated mote strands, not quite true-[[pict]]-quality. Frameshift technologies made flaws inevitable and can't be ironed out due to simple physics. At close range and in good conditions, the best holocast provided a phantom figure, alongside an audio buzzing. Jag and tear is common in long-range holocasts. One must be fairly close to one another, in astronomical terms, to properly engage in a holocast conversation.{{Fn|99a}}
