Ten thousand years later, the Iron Warriors still maintain the same pride, resentment, ferocity and icy methodology, especially against the Imperial Fists or any of their successor Chapters. Their anger often manifests into cruelty, and they will gladly enslave and exterminate the citizens of the Imperium in massive numbers.{{Fn|9c}} The Legion as a whole cares little for their own and even Perturabo was known to callously destroy ships of his own fleet if they were in the path of his flagship ''[[Iron Blood]]'',{{Fn|86}} and was know to strike down his own sons as a way to vent anger.{{Fn|13}} This attitude extends to the Iron Warriors themselves, and they are known to violently settle old feuds and grudges with one another under the cover of battle.{{Fn|86}}
The Iron Warriors are known to apply orange and black industrial hazard stripes to their wargear. The true reason is not entirely known, but some say this is evidence of a much-repressed bitter humor that has manifested in an otherwise dour legion.{{Fn|91}}
