Blessed with innate martial talents in their [[Cerebral Unit]]s by the [[Votann Ancestor Core]]s, Steeljacks are able to shrug off attacks that would lay even a [[Thunderkyn]] low. They are excellent shock troops and are able to smash aside defensive lines and run as swiftly as any mortal warrior, despite the weight of their heavy, void-sealed armour.{{Fn|2}} This allows them to anchor entire battlelines and Steeljacks become even more effective while being directed by [[Memnyr Strategist]]s [[Ironkin]].{{Fn|1}}  Steeljacks are well aware of their innate combat prowess and train constantly to best utilize their skillset, engaging in holographic simulations and studying tactical treatises in their spare time. While intimidating to behold, the rest of Kin society (both [[Kin|organic]] and [[Ironkin|mechanical]]) view them with affection and pride.{{Fn|2}}
