Changes

Bannick and his crew were next deployed along with the ''[[Cortein's Honour]]'' to the world of [[Geratomro]], which had risen in rebellion to the Imperium over the issue of the [[Tithe]]. During a chaotic landing Bannick was forced to take command after their commanding officer , [[Kandar Vor Ostrakhan Lo Hannick]] , was injured.{{Fn|2a}} The Imperial forces quickly overran the capital of [[Matua Superior]] then conducted a brutal public execution of the rebel leaders.{{Fn|2b}} After a brawl with rival [[Atraxian Regiments|Atraxian]] soldiers at a bar, Bannick and his crew faced punishment but thanks to the sacrifice of his loader , [[Gollph]], only he is the latter was flogged.{{Fn|2c}}

In further battles with the Geratomran rebels, the ''Cortein's Honour'' spearheaded the assault on Yellow Guard Ridge, where it took out a [[Destroyer Tank Hunter]].{{Fn|2d}} By this point, a full-scale [[Chaos]] invasion had erupted across Geratomro thanks to the machinations of the [[Daemonic Herald]] [[Dib]]. The ''Cortein's Honour'' was then ambushed by [[Emperor's Children]] [[Chaos Space Marine]] [[Predator]]s. Amid the chaos, the ''Cortein's Honour'' was badly damaged and Bannick and his crew were assigned to the [[Shadowsword]] ''[[Lux Imperator]]''.{{Fn|2e}} In a battle against [[Chaos Titan]]s, the ''Lux Imperator'' was severely damaged by but managed to delivered the decisive blow to a [[Chaos Warlord Titan|Warlord]].{{Fn|2f}}

Shortly after crippling the Titan, Bannick and his crew were badly wounded after the ''Lux Imperator'' was hit by the [[Emperor's Children]]. The sudden arrival of [[Black Templars]] forces saved his crew.{{Fn|2g}} Led by the [[Space Marine]]s, Bannick and the ''Lux Imperator'' fight fought through the [[Daemon]]-infested streets of Geratomro. Thanks to the sacrifice of the [[Emperor's Champion]] [[Bastoigne]], the [[Warp Rift]] the Chaos forces used to invade Geratomro was weakened enough to allow for the ''Lux Imperator'' to destroy it.{{Fn|2h}}

In the aftermath of the battle, Bannick and his crew faced a possible purges from purge by the [[Commissariat]] for their exposure to Chaos. The revelation caused his driver , [[Karlok Shoam]] , to kill the Commissar on board their tank while Bannick was forced to execute [[Lieutenant (Imperial Guard)|Lieutenant]] [[Epperaliant]] when he refused to lie about what had transpired.
