Lanthrilaq was one of the hundred heroes for whom [[Vaul]] had been charged to forge blades by Khaine, in a bargain to free [[Kurnous]] and [[Isha]] from Khaine's dungeons, but was given a faulty sword instead of a life-restoring [[Blade-Wraith]] and the result of which was the doom of the heroes.
After seven days and nights of fighting the [[Necrontyr]], Lanthrilaqs sword dulled and he grew tired and broke formation, giving [[Kaelis Ra]] the Deathbringer an opening to erupt from the earth and slay Lanthrilaq and many of his compatriots – turining their souls forever to dust.
