The twin brothers Alan and Michael Perry were [[Games Workshop]] miniature sculptors from 1978{{Fn|2a}} until 2014.{{Fn|1}}

Alan and Michael were born in 1961 and grew up in North London.{{Fn|3}} The Perry Brothers were still in school when they begun their careers at Games Workshop. The pair had been sculpting their own 90mm miniatures at the time when [[Ian Livingstone]] and [[Steve Jackson]] took an interest in their work. The Perrys met Ian and Steve at the Hammersmith Games Workshop store to show their miniatures, and were hired soon after.{{Fn|2a}}

Michael's right arm was amputated, though he made a swift recovery. As a right handed sculptor this posed a large challenge for Michael, though only ten days after the accident he had scultped his first miniature with his left hand. The twins also have good memories of reenacting. Later while reenacting in Switzerland Alan had [[Wikipedia:John_Howe_(illustrator)|John Howe]] fall out of a tree and land on him.{{Fn|2d}} The twins and John became close friends, and while at one of John's art shows in Paris the twins met [[Wikipedia:Peter Jackson|Peter Jackson]].{{Fn|2e}}

The Twins became close friends with Peter Jackson, and so in 1999 the Perry Twins begun work on The Lord of the Rings models. They begun sculpting work before the first film was released, and had a security guard at their studio to stop leaks. Every single miniature they sculpted for the Lord of the Rings had to be approved by both New Line Cinema, and the actor they had sculpted.{{Fn|2e}}
Together with [[Jervis Johnson]] and [[Rick Priestly]] the Perry twins set up [[Warhammer Historical]].{{Fn|4}}
For a time the twins owned an [[Wikipedia:M3 Stuart|M3A1 Stuart]]{{Fn|3}}, but had sold it by 2008 and bought a [[Wikipedia:Universal Carrier|Bren Carrier]].{{Fn|2c}}
