It should be noted that virtually all of the information concerning Hawser's alleged status as a Hidden One came from a [[daemon|power of the warp]] masquerading as Magistus [[Amon]] of the Thousand Sons deliberately misleading the Space Wolves. Hawser, believed to be a Thousand Sons deep-cover spy planted within the Space Wolves by such august personages as Leman Russ, [[Fulgrim]], and [[Constantin Valdor]], was just had simply been designed to ''appear'' as a spy by the machinations of [[Tzeentch|Chaos]]. Therefore, while the information given about the Hidden Ones appears reliable, the fact that the only one known example was definitively not one at all makes most of what we know about them uncertain.{{Fn|2}}
