What is known is that the Vespids view the world around them in a different way than other sentient beings, and their perspective is so far removed they often fail to think that other species are sentient. The Communion Helm allows for communication between the Vespid and the TauT'au, although some in the [[Ordo Xenos]] theorises that the helm actually attunes its wearer to the worldview of the TauT'au.{{Fn|1}}
