The '''Utarnos Mining Combine''', or '''UMC''' for short, is a [[Necromunda (planet)|NecromundaNecromundan]] mining combine that is based in the [[Ash WastesCinderak City]]in the planet' s [[Cinderak CityAsh Wastes (Necromunda)|Ash Wastes]].{{Fn|1}} 

It acts as the agents for the [[Guild of Coin]] and the [[House Orlock]] within the city, and the UMC's rigs can be seen crawling the [[Ash Wastes (Necromunda)|Ash Wastes]] all along the road to [[Hive Mynerva]]. These are often protected by gangs[[gang]]s, who are guarding guard their finds aboard the UMC's rigs.{{Fn|1}}. Though it is [[Human]] controlled{{Fn|2}}, the UMC will work with independent [[Ironhead Squat]] contractors, who live in [[Cinderak City]].{{Fn|1}}
