Sagitaurs are simple but advanced machines that are equipped with independent drive units, high-tensile suspensions, and cyklogeneous tire grips that allow them to easily move swiftly across even the toughest terrain. Their construction draws from a number of ancient STC designs in the possession of the Brôkhyr Engineering Guilds which give them a low center of gravity, rapid acceleration, and protective exofender frames. Besides their speed, light weight, and agility, Sagitaurs are also protected from the rigors of hostile environments such as storms, toxic mire, and can even operate on surfaces with no atmosphere such as asteroids.4a Sagitaurs have a small troop compartment capable of transporting up to six standard Kin.4b
Sagitaurs usually operate in pairs and are remarkably heavily-armed for their size; their armament includes a nose-mounted twin Bolt Cannon, along with a swivelling turret weapon - such as a HYLas beam cannon, L7 missile launcher, or MATR autocannon.1 The Kin and Ironkin within are supported by a COG that processes targeting data and threat assessments, enabling these transports to operate as mobile gun platforms. This effective and efficient combination of troop transportation and firepower makes them a frequent inclusion in Kinhosts of all sizesizes.4a
Sagitaurs are also suited to scouting operations and lightning-fast armoured offensives alongside Hernkyn Pioneers. Plus their armoured carapaces are durable enough to shrug off everything from rockslides to plasma blasts, making them an ideal spearhead for any of the Leagues of Votann's sponsored colonization efforts.1
