In battle, the Grey Knights make use of an egregore - a [[psychic]] link that allows for faster communication and better synchronisation.{{Fn|34}}
Recently, some of the Chapter's [[Librarian]]s have ritually bartered the souls of luckless Humans with Daemons in exchange for their [[True Name]]s, only to take the vacated mortal shell and bind it about with warding runes. In doing so, they create a "cage" of flesh and blood for the daemon and can use it in battle. The Librarians hope that daemons may be permanently bound and entrapped into such flesh-prisons, and many are then put into [[Stasis]] to entrap the entity indefinitely.{{Fn|57c}}
