In 764.[[M34]],{{Fn|7b}} Lugganath was victim to a [[The Shattering|major attack]] from a [[psychically]]-shielded fleet of the [[Emperor's Children]]. The devotees of [[Slaanesh]] cornered hundreds of Eldar at the '''Plaza of Reflection''' where their sonic weapons collapsed the craftworld's architecture, crushing much of the craftworld's populace, and prompting the use of [[Hemlock Wraithfighter]]s.{{Fn|7b}} The battle itself was engineered by the [[Harlequin]]s of [[Sylandri Veilwalker]] who stated that it would prevent greater deaths in the future. Though Lugganath was devastated in the attack, it was ultimately able to defeat the Emperor's Children invasion.{{Fn|5}}{{Fn|11}}
