Arkalli is at the centre of a group of [[Imperial]] worlds at the very edge of the reach of the [[Astronomican]]. The world is mostly covered in deserts, though there are sparse seas and equatorial jungles. The seas are noted as being smaller than the remnants of seas on [[Holy Terra]]. The population of the world are mostly scavengers and members of the [[Cult Mechanicus]] who work in the large underground factories.{{Fn|1}}
