==Overview==

Nobz are the larger Ork [[Ork Boyz|boyz]] who are still smaller than the [[Warboss]] of a tribe, but are able to exert their authority upon their peers through their sheer size and commanding, if brutish, nature. The term "Nob" is believed to be short for a parody of the [[Gothic]] word 'Nobles', but pronounced by the guttural Orkish throats as 'Knobs'. Nobz often form the bodyguard for their Warboss, and should the Warboss fall, the largest of this entourage will take his place. Other Nobz prefer to lead mobs of Orks who they can boss around with impunity. Nobz are arrogant to the extreme, and revel in pushing around smaller Orks [[Gretchin]], [[Snotling]] and engaging in cruel and casual violence.{{Fn|14}}
