Overview
This Warp energy has also given Abominants the most hellish and cruelest [[Machine Spirit]]s. This can be an advantage to their pilots in battle, for these Knights are only too eager to inflict suffering on their victims. Moreover, the warp energy swirling through their conduits seeps into the pilots [[Throne Mechanicum]], infusing its spirits with strange insights and wisdom that are poured into the operator. These gifts are often further augmented by the psychic nature of its pilots, who can tap into the warp energy built up by the Abominant to unleash a variety of sorcerous abilities. These include blasts of bale energy, opening micro [[Warp Rift]]s, and roiling waves of mutating energies. However all of these gifts also makes the Machine spirits of the Abominant prone to becoming feral and predatory, particularly after periods of inactivity. They will even turn on their pilots if they are displeased with the offerings of blood given.{{Fn|3a}}
Besides their warp-based abilities, Knight Abominants are equipped with more conventional weaponry. These include [[Volkite Combustor]]s, [[Electroscourge]]s, [[Balemace]]s, and [[Heavy Stubber]]s. In battle, they thrash their warp-wrought appendages, crushing anything that remains untainted.{{Fn|2}}
