'''Carnifexes''' are a [[Tyranid]] [[species of Tyranid|species]] of huge, hulking living battering rams employed by the forces of the [[Tyranids]]. They comprise many species displaying a wide variety of symbiotic weaponry. Their role is often assaulting fortified positions and tank formations. They are also useful in boarding large ships where there are large corridors<sup>1</sup>.
In the 2nd edition of Warhammer 40,000 they were known as Screamer-Killers<sup>2</sup>.
