During the [[13th Black Crusade]], Ulthor was the site of a defensive campaign by the 3rd, 5th and 7th [[Space Marine Company|Companies]] of the [[White Consuls]] [[Chapter]] alongside [[Imperial]] forces against a [[Chaos Space Marine]] warband named the [[Warp Ghosts]]. This campaign was called [[The Defense of Ulthor]].{{Fn|3}} [[Typhus the Traveler]] also invaded Ulthor as well and began to use it as his base of operations, during the 13th Black Crusade.{{Fn|4}}
Ulthor is currently a world wracked by the presence of the warp and is a place were [[Daemons]] walk freely. {{Fn|1}}
