[[Lucien]] was ordered to to aid in forge world's foundation with supplies and manpower. In their reluctance to do so, they used the opportunity instead to exile various apostate Tech-Priests from their ranks.{{Fn|7}}
During the [[Horus Heresy]], Mezoa was [[Mezoan Campaign|attacked]] by the forces of [[Chaos]]{{Fn|3}} and became encircled by the [[Dark Empire]].
