Castellan pilots become adept at regulating the flow of plasmic energy from their dual cores to this potent weapon, even risking angering the [[machine spirit]]s in order to unleash an especially ferocious blast should the situation demand it.{{Fn|2a}}

After his reappearing for he resurfaced at the end of [[ImperiumM41]], [[Archmagos]] [[Cawl]] presented unveiled a special and unique singular plasma decimator. Its machine spirit's data-shackles and enhanced containment fields allow this decimator to generate even more lethal volumes of energy than a simple example of such a weapon. This new decimator weapon was proudly named [[Cawl's Wrath]] in the honour of its creator.{{Fn|2b}}

A Ectoplasma Decimators are [[Chaos]]-corrupted version versions of the Plasma Decimator plasma decimator used by [[Chaos Knight]] [[Knight Tyrant|Tyrants]]. It combines standard plasma technology with [[Psyker|warp magicks ]] and infernal daemonic [[daemon]]ic ichor to eradicate the soul of their targets in addition to their physical form.{{Fn|3}}
