==History==
When the [[Horus Heresy]] began, the Lord Marshal's Own were reformed of old veterans, and new troops by their [[Lord Marshal]] [[Ireton MaSade]]. They then aided the [[Imperium]]'s forces in the [[Battle of the Coronid Deeps]].{{Fn|1}} During the defense of [[Numinal]], the unit took heavy casualties but were able to successfully defend the headquarters of [[Rogue Trader]] [[House MaSade|MaSade]]. Some of the auxilia were forced to amalgamate with other depleted units for the pursuit of the traitor forces under [[Draykavac]].{{Fn|3}}
