They greatly outnumbered the [[Marines Exemplar]], who were attempting to extract the staff of an Astropathic Way Station. The 5th Columnus shot down [[Maxim Absolon]]'s [[Thunderhawk Gunship]], most likely killing him. {{Fn|1}}
