→Release and Fourth Tyrannic War
The Chief Librarian soon informed the Ultramarines' Chapter Master of this, which led Marneus Calgar to immediately reinstate Titus into the Ultramarines. This officially put an end to any doubts about him, and Calgar declared Titus would once again serve with the Chapter's 2nd Company. Titus would not serve as its Captain, though, as Sevastus Acheran now held the title, and instead the Primaris became one of the 2nd's Lieutenants instead. Though Captain Acheran had only just left the 10th Company, when Titus was taken into custody by Inquisitor Gerome Thrax, the Lieutenant accepted his new rank when he later awoke. Having once more been reunited with his Chapter and reclaimed his name, Titus was ready and resolved to bring the Ultramarines' wrath upon the foes of the Imperium.1
After his reincorporation into the Ultramarines 2nd Company, Titus was given command of squad memembers members Gadriel and Chairon, keeping his history and reasons for being a Deathwatch Blackshield from them. He converses with the Chaplain attached to the Ultramarines 2nd Company, who is highly distrustful of him and seeks to keep an eye on him. Titus then journeyed with his new squad to Avarax to rescue the Archmagos Nozick Beta-12, but the Tech-Priests were all slain by the Tyranids save Morias Leuze.12b Titus discovers that the Mechanicum research team was reviving Project Aurora, but they are then ambushed by the Thousand Sons under Imurah. Leuze is slain and Imurah retrieves the device.12c
Battling through both Thousand Sons and Tyranids on Avarax, Titus and his squad are able to retrieve Leuze and then move to send out an Astropathic message to Marneus Calgar and warn him of the situation.12d However when they reach the Astropathic Choir, the Astropath accuses Titus of being a heretic who seeks to betray Calgar. This causes Gadriel to attempt to subdue Titus, but the Astropath is slain by Chairon. Soon enough the Astropah is revealed to have been possessed by Imurah, causing Chairon to realize he had been manipulated.12e
