The Cult preached that Morod's [[Tech-Priest]]s, are keeping the Forge World's [[Tech-thralls]] from their true salvation – a long-prophesied union with [[Tyranids|angels]]. The radical [[Genetor]] [[Gammat Triskellian]] has learned of the Cult, however, and he hoped to use it to end the stagnant corruption, Gammat believed has overtaken Morod.{{Fn|1}}
The Forge World was then beset by a Genestealer Rebellion and the [[Tyranid]] arrived and consumed the world but not before [[The Congregation of the Divine Union]] sent out ships to spread their infection.{{Fn|2b}}
