|Known to have fought in the Khai-Zhan Uprising58 and later the 13th Black Crusade, involved in the Battle of Tyrok Fields, where were they were caught unawares by the turncoat Volscani Cataphracts. The main body of the Cadian 7th were mercilessly cut down before they could properly form a response to the sudden assault. The regiment was rescued by the actions of the Cadian 8th, under the command of Lord Castellan Ursarkar Creed. The 7th Cadians' flag was carried forward by no fewer then 12 separate troopers during the course of the engagement.Cite ThisCME

|This regiment was involved at Beta Anphelion IV133 where it fielded a Hellhound company, dividing the vehicles between the infantry companies for direct close support in the jungles. As well as proving valuable during battles, they were also used for defoliation operations - clearing lines of fire or burning a path through the dense foliage for following Chimeras.33 The regiment consists of one mechanized infantry company, five infantry companies, an armoured company and a sentinel company. Attached to the HQ Staff are a signal platoon, a medic company and a workshop platoon.cite thisCME

Late M41 — Freshly raised, the regiment was thrown into the Medusa V campaign under the command of Colonel Hagen von Frohlof. Apart from the Colonel and a second Lieutenant Hennessen, a veteran of the defence of the Cadian Gate, no one else in the regiment had any combat experience. Soon after arriving the regiment was placed under the orders of Grand Inquisitor Belerophus Hothas to aid him in his examination of an as yet uncatalogued Hive Fleet. In pursuit of this goal the regiment suffered heavy casualties in three months of continuous fighting. Resupply and reinforcement became increasingly infrequent. Colonel Frohlof mentioned his suspicions in his personal log, that the Supreme command under Count Graf Harazahn seemed to supply them only when the situation became strategically critical, and even then only at the last minute as was necessary. The last orders to the regiment were directed from Inquisitor Hoth as to the regiments position in the Combat Zone Hydra, deep in the ash wastes. The regiment was lost and considered destroyed to the last man on Medusa V. 101112
