As the Siege reached its climax, Sindermann learned of the creation of Daemons and was left confused by Ahriman promptly left the library with the defeat of Horus. The entire ordeal left him unsure with the path to take save that secrets were now the new currency for mankind.{{Fn|21}} Kyril was in a state of shock upon the Loyalist victory, and became determined to prevent a new Heresy at all costs.{{Fn|22a}}
Sindermann was next seen in the [[Fortress of the Sigillite]] burning forbidden texts relating to the Warp.{{Fn|22a}} He was convinced to stop by [[Chosen of Malcador]] (and secretly [[Basilio Fo]]) [[Zaranchek Xanthus]]), who convinced him to work for [[Rogal Dorn]] join forces in cataloging forbidden texts in order to possibly use them as a tool against Chaos in the future.{{Fn|22b}} He then managed to convince [[Rogal Dorn]] of lending them his authority to secure ressources and items and manpower for this goal.{{Fn|22c}}
