As with elsewhere in the Imperium, are [[psyker]]s on Necromunda persecuted and feared. Folktales of psykers confirm the worst: that they can cause madness with a touch and summon [[daemon]]s. In turn many psykers, tormented beyond endurance, lash out at their persecutors, using their powers to destroy. Thereby giving truth to the tales in the eyes of their persecutors.{{Fn|1}}
