Insulted by this unimaginable order, the Executioners turned on the Astral Claws and with the aid of all of survived Salamanders started the bloody decimation of their former allies. In the ensuing battle on board the '''Pyre of Glory''' and the Astral Claws' ship ''[[Hyrcania]]'', every single Astral Claw, [[serf|chapter serf]] and [[servitor]] present was relentlessly and savagely slaughtered, and the '''Hyrcania''' was left a charnel house of decapitated bodies.{{Fn|1}}
