Similar to a Grabbin' Claw, a '''Big Grabber''' is a mechanical claw mounted in much the same way as a wrecker ball. The Ork which operates the claw has a great amount of fun ripping chunks off opposing vehicles or plucking their crew. Sometimes after grabbing an enemy opponent rather than simply crushing a foe or tossing them aside, the ork might choose to keep holding onto them, effectively capturing them at the end of the battle if they do not escape. This version of grabbing claw can be found mounted on [[Trukk]]s and other vehicles.{{Fn|2b}}

===Grot Sponsons===

When Orks feel their tanks don't have enough weaponry, they sometimes mount additional [[Big Shoota]] sponsons with [[Gretchin]] manning them. That makes them more accurate than usual Ork weapons, but these sponsons are very fragile and are easily destroyed in battle.{{Fn|6}}

===Mine Layer===

An Ork Mine Layer is a rack of two [[mines]], either [[Frag_grenade|Frag]] or [[Krak grenade|Krak]], that are dropped behind the vehicle as it moves. They are used to attack enemy chasers, or to close off areas of the battlefield. [[Ork Warbike]]s can carry one of these, while larger [[Ork Vehicles (List)|Ork Vehicles]] might carry up to three. If struck by an enemy, undeployed mines can explode damaging the Ork vehicle itself.{{Fn|11}}

===Red Paint Job===

Most cultures in the galaxy place special meaning on the colours they can perceive. Many vehicles in the Ork armoury are painted red as a result of the superstition that it makes them "go fasta!". Because of the cumulative psychic effect of the [[Waaagh!]], this thought manifests itself as a real boost to the operation of a vehicle. The effect is not limited to vehicles as red is found on just about any item an Ork wants to make stronger, faster, shoot better, etc. The most fanatical Orks belong to the [[Kult of Speed]] and use red liberally.{{Fn|9}}
