Since that time great battles and wars have occurred not only between the increasingly awakened Necrons and the Imperium but other factions of the galaxy as well. Some major examples include:
*The [[Orphean War]] - A great war between the Imperium and the [[Maynarkh Dynasty]], which would see the dissolution of the [[Orpheus Sector]] and heavy losses by both sides.
*The [[Kaurava_system#The_Kaurava_Campaign|Kaurava Campaign]] - a war involving most major factions of the [[galaxy]], which ultimately saw the Necrons defeated alongside most other factions all others by the [[Orks]] under [[Gorgutz 'Ead 'Unter]]
*The [[Imperial]] [[Crusade]] against the [[Ithakas Dynasty]], which saw the dynasty being driven away from their original Tomb Worlds and chased into space by the fleet, only for the Crusade to finally be defeated in the [[Ghoul Stars]]
*The [[Damnos Incident|First]], [[Second Battle of Damnos|Second]], and [[Third War for Damnos]] which would see the system exchange hands back and forth between the forces of the [[Szarekhan Dynasty]] and the [[Ultramarines]], a conflict that is still ongoing as of the [[Era Indomitus]]
