Changes

Containing the most skilled [[Space Marine Veteran|Veteran]] warriors of the Chapter, the 1st Company is trained in the arts of fighting in modern or ancient patterns of [[Power Armour]], and are experts in all manner of weaponry. The majority of their warriors don [[Tactical Dreadnought Armour]], becoming [[Terminator Squad]]s, while others form [[Vanguard Veteran]], [[Bladeguard Veteran]], or [[Sternguard Veteran Squad]]s. After the introduction of [[Primaris Space Marines]], [[Space Marine Veteran|Veterans]] also began to deploy as typical squads, such as Veteran [[Infiltrator]]s or [[Intercessors]], using their superior knowledge from decades in those roles to their advantage.{{Fn|1}}

Additionally, members of the 1st are often attached to other [[Battle Company|Battle]] and [[Reserve Companies]] all over the [[Galaxy]], lending their wisdom and martial skill to support and inspire their less skilled [[Battle-Brothers]]. Sometimes, individual veterans of the 1st are chosen to join the ranks of the [[Victrix Guard]], guarding important leaders such as the [[Chapter Master]].{{Fn|1}}
