===Post-Mortem===
When Guilliman heard reports that Ferrus had fallen, along with [[Vulkan]] and [[Corax]], he lamented that, of the three, he would miss Ferrus most of all.{{Fn|5}}
==Personality==
Ferrus Manus was ebodiment of strength, discipline, and unbreakable resolve. Stern and uncompromising, he believed that physical, emotional, or moral weakness was the root of all failure, and sought to eliminate it through relentless improvement.
He taught his sons that strength must be forged like metal: through pressure, fire, and the rejection of fragility. To the Iron Hands, he was a hard but visionary father, who demanded perfection not out of cruelty, but belief in legion's potential.
Ferrus was deeply devoted to the Emperor and the survival of humanity, though his methods were often brutal and his emotions buried beneath layers of logic and steel. He saw technology not just as a tool, but as a path to purity and power, forging a close bond with the Mechanicum. In war, Ferrus Manus was a fearless, efficient, and merciless juggernaut to those who threatened the Imperium. Though his inflexibility sometimes isolated him, he remained loyal to the end.
