The '''Tear of Selevia''' is a [[Imperial]] relic that was created during the conquest of the [[Selevia System]], a necklace forged around a large oval midnight blue [[Spirit Stone]], taken from the dead body of a [[Warlock]].{{Fn|1}}
==History==The Tear was forged as a necklace, with the centrepiece being a large oval midnight blue gem. This gem is the [[Spirit Stone]] captured from the dead body of the commander of the [[aeldari]] forces during the battle for the Selevia System. The necklace was commissioned by the [[Imperial]] commander, [[Colonel]] [[Greeves]] and presented as a gift to the first [[Governor]] of the Selevia System, [[Sirlene Rask]].{{Fn|1}} Govenor Rask is said to have gone insane in the twenty years that followed, a period in which she wore the necklace daily before dying in a fire along with her family when her manse burned down. It was suggested by [[Inquisitor]] [[Alyssana Nero]] that her insanity was the result of the aeldari spirit who resided within: which came from a [[Psyker]] of great ability. The Tear of Selevia was placed on display by her successor until it was stolen – later recovered by Nero.{{Fn|1}}
The aeldari whose Spirit Stone was mounted in the necklace was a [[psyker]] of great ability and Nero would later use the Governor is said to have been driven insane during the following twenty years of wearing the necklace. Governor Rask died when her manse burned down one night along with her family.{{Fn|1}} The Tear of Selevia was placed on display by her successor until would be used as a bagaining chip with the Aeldari, gifting it was stolen. It was later recovered and transferred back to the aeldari by [[Alyssana Nero]] in exchange for information on the an artefact of unknown origin known as the [[Pillar of Dreams]]which the Aeldari urged her to destroy.{{Fn|1}}
