Led by Ynnead's Emissary Yvraine, the group is composed of Eldar from the Craftworlds, Corsair groups, Exodites, Commorragh and even from among the Harlequins. With their combined might they have become a rising force in the galaxy, who not only seek to bring about Ynnead's birth, but also return the Eldar to the glory their race had before their Empire fell. However, the arrogant coercion they employ to save their race has alienated as many Eldar as it has united under Yvraine's command. Worse still, many see the Ynnari as corrupted by the very daemonic forces they seek to thwart, while others believe they are already dead inside. And because of their growing strength, they have drawn the attention of the Chaos Gods, who have now unleashed their forces to hunt down the group wherever they go. Slaanesh in particular seeks to destroy the Ynnari, in order to end the threat they pose to him.1a
History
====Awakening of Ynnead====thumb|right|220px300px|Leaders Eldrad leads the Masque of the YnnariMidnight Sorrow at the Battle of Port Demesnus2aThe Ynnari were founded by After the spoiled ritual of the Ulthwé Farseer Ulthran and the VisarchHarlequins of the Masque of the Midnight Sorrow shortly before at the Thirteenth Black CrusadeBattle of Port Demesnus and , which sought to turn the failure crystal moon of Eldrad UlthranCoheria into a Psychic Beacon brighter than the Astronomican which could call to resurrect all craftworld Infinity Circuits but instead saw Coheria destroyed, first roused Ynnead following from his slumber he imparted a fraction of his will into Yvraine as she was killed and appointed by Corag Hai the priestess of Morai-Heg in the Battle Crucibael of Port DemesnusCommoragh.319 Gathering followers from across the Eldar race, their first mission consisted of retrieving the ancient – an apotheosis which tore open Khaine's Gate and triggered a catastrophic Crone SwordDysjunctions 20 and containing those that followed her to flee Commorragh through Sec Maegra into the forces of ChaosWebway spilling across multiple , her CraftworldBloodbrides. The Ynnari later , allied themselves Eldar Corsairs, with the ImperialVisarch survivors of the Thirteenth Black Crusade and aided them during the his Ultramar CampaignIncubi. After becoming the resurrection first of Roboute Guilliman the remaining Ynnari went back into the Webway.22a
====Fracture of Biel-Tan====[[ImageFile:YnnariDRBirthofYnnead.jpg|thumb|right|220px300px|Yvraine awakens the Yncarne within Biel-Tan1a]]Whereupon the Ynnari travelled to Ursulia where the Infinity Circuit of Biel-Tan above faced a daemonic taint from The Masque of Slaanesh and out of desperation to remove it the Biel-tani turned to the Yvraine, who explained the mission of the Ynnari as revealed to her by Ynnead: to walk the "Seventh Path" and gather the the ancient Crone Swords now spread across the galaxy which together could revive the god of death, and in a demonstration of the truth of the path pulled Asu-var the Sword of Silent Screams from within the Infinity Circuit and with it awoke the Yncarne2a ushering forth the light in the Warp which Eldrad could not on Coheria. The ripples of Ynnead spread through the Warp and was felt by all Psykers, across the galaxy piles of bone rattled into the shape of Ynnead's rune. The infinity circuits of all other Craftworlds glowed white hot, and Farseers skeins of fate reshaped themselves as the Rhana Dandra was delayed.2b Within Biel-Tan the Yncarne instantaneously banished the Daemons from Biel-Tan and its daemon-infected Wraithbone sundered in the process – worse yet the souls within the circuit itself were released into the void where Slaanesh could claim them, and only through tremendous effort were the souls bound anew to Wraith Constructs in a joint effort by Biel-Tan and, for the first time, with allies found among the Harlequins of the Midnight Sorrow and all manner of Biel-Tani, most prominently the Autarch Meliniel and the Dire Avengers of the Silvered Blade Shrine, united in their effort as the Ynnari.2b ====Debate within Ulthwé====On Ulthwé, the seer council refused to commit their forces to the Ynnari cause – taking the moment of Yvraine's appearance to censure and exile Eldrad Ulthran. While arguing in the Farseers defense and for direct Ynnari intervention in capturing the Crone Swordss in the Crone Worlds rather than abdicating the responsibility to Il-Kaithe, Eldar from Craftworld Altansar unexpectedly appeared from the Webway appeared suddenly to plead urgent action within the Eye of Terror: aware they could not themselves return to the Eye of Terror Warlock Guentilian Onyxblade slit their own throat to pledge their soul to Yvraine. Sensing their master within Yvraine, the Gyrinx Alorynis began to follow her, the act earning the Ynnari allies among the remaining Altansari. Unconvinced, the Seer Council turned to hostility against the assembled parties before the appearance of Kysaduras the Anchorite, accompanied by Harlequins of the Midnight Sorrow, the momentousness of his appearance before the council ending hostilities and settling the debate: the Ynnari would act and those among Ulthwé who wished join them would do so.2b ====Belial IV====Together venturing into the Eye of Terror, the ynnari landed upon the Crone World of Belial IV where below the silver moon they encountered Urien Rakarth and the Prophets of Flesh, and the melee attracted the Daemons of Slaanesh2b – Rakharth equally horrified and exhilarated to learn those Haemonculi felled were reduced to dust simultaneously in every vat-clone, phylactery, and secret remnant.2c In the fray Yvraine noticed a radius of dull grey Spirit Stones devoid of their power and at its center they located the resting place of a buried crone sword, and from within the earth the Yncarne burst forth weilding Vilith-zhar the Sword of Souls.2b The second Crone Sword of Belial IV would have to wait. The force turned towards the ruins of a shattered ancient city, finding and fortifying the museum structure of the Memorial Hall of Atransis and an immense yellow rune-portal hidden to all but the dead and those who bear their blessing where The Soulseeker, Wraithknight of Iyanden ushered them forth into the Webway beyond while Iyanna Arienal and her Wraith Constructs guarded their exit.2c ====Iyanden====After long weeks of arduous travel, they found their exit: a hidden portal within Vaidh Wayport on Craftworld Iyanden finding the craftworld under siege by the forces of Nurgle, their Asuryani and Harlequin contingents conscripted into battle and the rest sequestered to guest quarters. Yvraine called upon old debts from her Corsair allies, and in so doing the remaining Ynnari were brought forth to defend the craftworld, banishing Daemons and the infections they spread. Yvraine asked to be brought to the dead and infectous body of Dark ReaperPrince Yrielwho had ended the Nurglite assault, whereupon she plunged the Spear of Twilight into the Admiral's chest and he was revived: and the spear revealed as the fourth Crone Sword,2c the final still on Belial IV, and returned to the revived prince his spear. Within the Ghost Halls, Iyanna Arienal worked with Yvraine to work a miracle of the God of the Dead, moving the consciousness of the warriors within the Infinity Circuit of Iyanden directly into the infinity circuits of Wraith Constructs without the Spirit Stone conduit, no longer would they walk in a waking dream, rather they were given life anew with which they pledged to serve the Ynnari and end Slaanesh on behalf of the living.2c ====Journey to Ultramar====Under prophecy from Eldrad, the Ynnari of Iyanden realized that Humans would be their best allies to move against the Great Enemy and traversed the Webway beginning a long journey to Ultramar. Enroute the group were ambushed in a thin part of the Webway known as the Psychedelta by Ahriman, his Prodigal Sons, and nine Exiles in an event that would become known as the War in the Labyrinth, which saw many Ynnari fall before the arrival of the Phoenix Lords of the Asurya: Asurmen, Jain Zar, Fuegan, Maugan Ra, Baharroth, and Karandras – those who would one day usher in the Rhana Dandra. Yvraine was able to lure Ahriman away, by resurrecting a dozen rubicae and sending them into a Webway fisure, in time moving beyond the Psychedelta. Battle-worn down to half their number and absent the Phoenix Lords, the gathering followed the laughter of Cegorach through the Webway. As they arrived at the spherical portal to Klaisus, they were met by Wyches of the Cult of Strife who sought to understand if Ynnead could end the The Thirst and a moment was had of religious reverence as Biel-tani Aspect Warriors pledged themselves to Ynnead putting aside their helms to trust in an afterlife.2c Upon Klaisus they found a wasteland stained with blood, and an entrentched force of Imperials rallied around Saint Celestine: Black Templars, Inquisitor Greyfax and the Sisters of Battle, Imperial Guardsmen lead by Marshal Amalrich,9a Adeptus Mechanicus with their destroyed Knights lead by none other than Belisarius Cawl locked in combat with the Black Legion. The Ynnari drove forward to repel the Chaos Space Marines and after three assaults Abaddon relented. The Ynnari and the Imperials wearily joined eachothers company beneath the Crone's Claw. After three hours of tense assurances that they would not kill each other, together they moved through the webway upon Macragge.2c  ====Resurrection of Guilliman====The Ynnari forced divided, Eldrad and Meliniel both led splinter forces upon other prescient fronts, while Yvraine and a reduced force including her Bloodbrides and a force of Incubi and Dire Avengers lead by the Visarch, exited the webway on the Atheron Mountains with the Imperials on Macragge and engaged the Black Legion as they marched together towards the Fortress of Hera and were met by Stormravens and Stormhawks of the Ultramarines which ferried them past the battlements. In the fortress they met Ultramarines Chapter Master Marneus Calgar, Captain Agemman, Librarian Tigurius, and the Grey Knight Voldus where Belisarius Cawl impressed upon the assembled group with importance that they must be ushered to the resting place of Roboute Guilliman. Together the group travelled by Gunship to the Shrine of Guilliman where they pressed forwards through Black Legionnaires to the throne of Guilliman and together with Cawl's Autoreliquary revived the Primarch.9a The Ynnari stayed to see the Black Legion driven off the planet and as tutors to Guilliman as he learned of the past ten-thousand years.9b ====Pylons====After departing Ultramar, the Ynnari set forward to defend the remaining Pylons working amongst the Aeldari to find those that would newly stand vigil over them.9b  ===Psychic Awakening===
Since the Psychic Awakening began, the Ynnari efforts against Chaos have intensified. Yvraine has been able to gather a great many allies to herself but now also finds herself beset by enemies, most notably Asdrubael Vect5a and Shalaxi Helbane5b. Helbane has managed to move the last of the fabled Crone Swords into the Palace of Slaanesh. These relics are said to be necessary to defeat Slaanesh without the need to sacrifice the whole of the Eldar race in the Rhana Dandra. Rather than despair at her apparent hopeless situation, Yvraine continues to search for another path to defeat Slaanesh.5c
