The Incident was the culmination of conflict between [[House Orlock]] and [[House Delaque]] and saw the young upstart [[Kagill Orlock]] make a surprise attack against Delaque forces of Drypus. Uncharacteristically, the Delaque are were caught off-guard and make made little effort to escape the ambush. More surprising is that the [[Lord Helmawr]] lays lay the blame at Delaque and places placed sanctions upon their clan. House Orlock count the battle as a great victory, though keener minds are not so sure.{{Fn|1}}
