The Kuiper belt is distinct from the [[Wikipedia:Oort Cloud|Oort cloud]]. The former, alongside Neptune and TNOs, marking the end boundary of the solar system's [[Wikipedia:Heliopause|Heliopause]]. The latter is theorized to encompass the entire solar system in a sphere many thousands of times further away than the Kuiper Belt is from Earth.
