With the Sorcerer dead, the squad's bolter rounds resume their trajectory and destroy the statue, which results in a beam of light shooting up from the ruins. This signal is seen from the Ultramarines' vessel in orbit, and used to deploy ordnance to the location to ensure nothing remains. With the mission objectives accomplished, the ship bids Metaurus and Titus to die well. Titus instead drags Metaurus to safety; Metaurus urges Titus that they've done their duty, but the Lieutenant is not in the mood to die just yet. Titus secures his helmet and prepares to battle more cultists bearing down on their position.14

*Battle of Bastior
After the campaign on Zsah'uj, Titus was part of the Ultramarines forces mustered by Marneus Calgar to combat the massive new tendril of Hive Fleet Leviathan in the Bastior Sub-Sector. There, he and his battle-brothers fought to defend Imperial worlds from Tyranid swarms, protect evacuations, and also did battle with heretics seeking to take advantage of the mayhem caused by the Xenos. During the battle, Titus and his forces eliminated a Hive Tyrant during the Siege of the Martyr's Palace on Ulandrian. On the Ocean World of Hydra's Lair, they defended promethium rigs for over sixteen days. During the battle on the Agri-World of Rashlav, Titus delivered the final blow to a Norn Emissary dubbed the Ghoul of Rashlav and in so-doing prevented the complete collapse of the Imperial defences.Fn
