[[Angron]] didn't manage to make it as far east as Hive Acheron and so it took no part in the First War.{{Cite thisMarker End}}

Acheron became the last bastion of human power on Armageddon. The population were preparing themselves for one last fight but just as the [[Orks]] were charging, vast holes were blown in their ranks as an orbital bombardment began and large numbers of Space Marines were dropped via [[Drop Pod]]. In the end little damage was done to Acheron and it became Commander [[Dante]]'s temporary field headquarters. From this time on Acheron was no longer under threat.{{Cite thisMarker End}}
