Etrian is the home of a [[Xenos]] species of armored armoured creatures with their primary feature being a gaseous bladder. These xenos are hostile to intruders and often attack the harvesting operations the [[Mechanicus]] run in the planets atmosphere to extract exotic heavy elements and precious isotopes.{{Fn|1}}
