These are made by partial [[gene-seed]] implantation.{{Fn|3c}}{{Fn|4b}} They have muscles of comparable size to an Astartes, but are unlikely to defeat an Astartes one-on-one, despite how hard it is for them to die.{{Fn|4b}} Gland Hounds are designed to hunt [[Space Marines]] in packs and retrieve their gene-seed.{{Fn|3c}}{{Fn|4b}} They are loyal to Bile on a genetic level and worship him as a quasi-god.{{Fn|3c}}
Of their many biological quirks, some Gland Hounds are even able to piss a strong form of acid.{{Fn|4b}}
