==History==
The seat of power of [[El'uriaq]], Shaa-Dom and its overlord planned to one day dominate the Dark City. However the supreme overlord of Commorragh, [[Asdrubael Vect]], captured a [[human]] starship and sent it crashing into Shaa-Dom through a [[Webway Portal]]. The city was devastated by the initial explosion, but the real damage came when the ship's [[Warp Drive]]s detonated and opened up a rift to the [[Warp]]. Now flooded with [[Daemon]]s, Shaa-Dom was sealed away from the rest of Commorragh on Vect's personal orders.{{Fn|1}}
===Recent History===[[File:Blood-of-the-Phoenix.jpg|thumb|right|300px|[[Jain Zar]] battles Drazhar in [[Shaa-Dom]]{{Fn|3a}}]]Shortly after the [[Dysjunction]] caused by the apotheosis of [[Yvraine]], [[Drazhar]] was able to lure [[Jain Zar]] and a force of [[Saim-Hann]] through the [[Webway]] to Shaa-Dom where he ambushed and killed the [[Phoenix Lord]] and her assembled [[Howling Banshee]]s – gifting their corpses to the [[Mandrake]]s of [[Aelindrach]] so that Jain Zar's armour could be forgotten.{{Fn|3b}} In [[M42]], [[Ahriman]]'s apprentice [[Khethos Vorsch]] was able to shatter the stability of the Webway over the planet [[Mordian]], bringing part of the realm of Shaa-Dom into realspace above the world.{{Fn|2}}
