Baelor, also known as Baelor the Imposter, is a Fallen Angel. While hunting him in late M40, the Dark Angels came across the STC to the Nephilim Jetfighter.1
By the time of the formation of the Great Rift, Baelor served as the second-in-command of the warband known as the Ten Thousand Eyes under the fellow Fallen Seraphax. Seraphax used his sorcerous abilities to keep Baelor free of mutation, and both still saw themselves as working for the betterment of mankind.2a Later when Lion El'Jonson reemerged on Camarth, Baelor was disturbed by Seraphax's plan to capture their Primarch and use him as a means to kill the Emperor and elevate him to a Warp deity.2b While Seraphax succeeded in capturing The Lion, The Risen arrived to interfere with the Fallen Lords Lord's plans. During the battle, Seraphax transformed into a monstrous creature and Baelor finally realized his master was too far gone, stabbing his friend and master in the back.2c
After the battle, Baelor presented himself to The Lion and asked for forgiveness. The Primarch declared him one of his Risen, but Baelor revealed that the Warp Blade Seraphax had given him was now slowly killing his body. Baelor asked his gene-father to give him a quick and noble death, which the Primarch also agreed to.2c
