Guilliman eventually succeeded in making it through Imperium Nihilus. He arrived at [[Baal]] as it was [[Devastation of Baal|beset by both Tyranids and Chaos ]]and helped save the [[Blood Angels]] and their [[Successor Chapter]]s from destruction. After the battle Guilliman met with [[Dante]], who he appointed as [[Regent]] of Imperium Nihilus and gave the resources to bring some semblance of order to the besieged realm. He then returned to the [[Imperium Sanctus]] to continue his work.{{Fn|29}}
Sometime after the Devastation of Baal [[Abaddon]] and [[Vashtorr]] launched their [[Arks of Omen Campaign]]. During the subsequent wars, the entire [[Indomitus Crusade Fleet TertiusQuartus]] was corrupted or destroyed by a vast [[Khornate]] horde led by [[Angron]].{{Fn|24}}
