Overview
The campaign first began when a Space Hulk was spotted heading towards the Industrial World of Jhalheid Secundus. The Bloodmaws Great Company under Bran Redmaw was dispatched to deal with the threat. When his ships arrived in the system, they found segments of the Hulk had broken off and were now slamming into worlds across the Systemsystem. Moreover. Bran's Rune Priests were able to sense the psychic aggression of the Orks aboard the hulk, now dubbed Krakamorg.1
Bran unleashed his Battle Leaders , Ruarik and Svingar Eyestrike , with half of his forces to hunt down the fragments of the Space Hulk which had begun to assault other worlds while Bran led an assault on the main portion directly. Bran was able to lead a boarding attack directly onto the vessel with his strike craft, manoeuvring through fields of debris and Ork turret fire. Over a dozen packs of the Bloodmaws were able to land onto the Hulk and force their way inside divided into forces under Bran himself, Company Champion Torgun Bloodpelt, and Wolf Priest Ulaf Speargyde. Each of these targeted an individual vessel inside the hulk. Inside, the Imperials were immediately assailed by the Orks. It was revealed that the Orks had been on the Hulk for many years and had built an elaborate tunnel network throughout the Hulk that allowed them to converge en masse.1
Meanwhile, Torgun led Eradicatorss and Intercessors against mobs of Orks as big as cave bears. Ulaf's forces were able to buy enough time for Iron Priests to lay charges on the Warp Drive core of one of the entombed vessels within the Hulk. However , as victory seemed near, the Space Wolves received notice that two more Hulks were spotted entering the Jhalheid System.1
