→Warlord
Particularly dominant and successful Warbosses are called "Warlords" or "Great Bosses". Tribe after tribe will flock to such a prominent leader, forming a massive Ork horde.2c The most powerful and successful Warboss's may instead refer to themselves by a unique and impressive title of their own devising, such as the "Arch-arsonist" of Charadon.2d
Warlords rise to such exalted heights by showing genius in battle and besting their rivals and challengers, but mostly thorough commanding obedience and respect by shouting very loudly. Great intellect is not a prerequisite to become a Warlord, and its lack is rarely a drawback as Warlords have an easy time finding able advisors to attend to their demanding tasks. Warlords hold court in great Orkish halls and sit upon garish thrones decked in the trophies of their victories – the finest of which is often considered to be a Space Marine Helmet, which they display upon War Bannerss as testaments to their prowess and leadership.10a
