Once the Maze Undue was razed by Inquisitorial agents led by Inquisitor [[Gideon Ravenor]], Bequin was sold to the local Ecclesiarchy who intended to conduct experiments with her. Heretical memebers of the Ecclasiarchy, with the aid of elements of the [[Word Bearers]] Chaos Space Marines, seemingly succeded in using Bequin to speak [[Enuncia]] without her being harmed in any way. Thanks to the intervention of Inquisitor [[Gregor Eisenhorn]], she successfully fled before any further steps could be done through the project. She was finally brought to the house of [[Alace Glaw]] where an [[Emperor's Children]] [[Chaos Space Marine]] named [[Teke]] "The Smiling One", wanted to use her to find an access to the [[City of Dust]]. This fabled city was in reality a twin of Queen Mab but set into another dimension and a first attempt to open a stable passage through the [[Immaterium]] much like the Eldar [[Webway]]. {{Fn|2b}}{{Fn|2c}}{{Fn|2g}}{{Fn|2h}} After evading multiple foes, Bequin was freed from [[Gideon Ravenor]]'s activity by [[Cherubael]] and agreed to work with him to hunt down the mysterious [[King in Yellow]].{{Fn|2i}}
Eisenhorn and Bequin traveled to the city of Queen Mab on the world of [[Sancour]] to attempt to research on how to enter the [[City of Dust]], the rumored rumoured pocket dimension which served as the hiding place of the Yellow King.{{Fn|1}} During the search for the City of Dust Bequin reestablished contact with Gideon Ravenor, who formed a temporary alliance with his former Inquisitor colleague. Coming to work with Ravenor, she was part of an entourage which included [[Comus]], [[Renner Lightburn]], and [[Patience Kys]].{{Fn|3a}} Bequin was able to eventually enter the City of Dust, where she encountered apparent clones of her Cognitae "academy" classmates [[Judika]] and [[Faria]]. These figures summoned [[Custodes|Custodians]] to take her before the Yellow King, Alizebeth panicked and used [[Enuncia]] to escape. However the group was able to recover a book which held the full name of the Yellow King, the first two words of which were [[Constantin Valdor]].{{Fn|3b}}
